NJ Transit offers both train and bus service into mid-town New York and lower Manhattan with transfers in Newark-Penn Station.  Important to note that plans were recently approved by the transit authority of New York and New Jersey for construction of another tunnel that will offer Westfield, Cranford and surrounding towns a mid-town direct train line to Manhattan by 2016.

Newark International Airport is just a 20 minute drive from just about anywhere in Union County and makes travel for both business and pleasure a "real pleasure"!
